Once tried the modern wall panels or simply painting the walls, most homeowners return to tiles. The modest tiles for walls are cheap. They are made of the clay mixed with water and covered later with ceramic stain and gloss. The variety of colors which can be chosen is endless.

The tiles, when they are already installed, form a very durable surface which is not easy to damage. Even it you splashed something on such a wall or its surface is very dirty, you can clean the wall tiles in bathroom easily. No special stuff is needed – just warm water and soap.

The tiles can be scrubbed and won’t be damaged as well. If paint gets to the tile surface you can take a sand paper and a knife and get rid of the paint spot. You can experiment combining various contrast colors or even install the tiles which for a mosaic panel. Some of the cons of the tiles will be met before you start to install them, not after. You should be very careful not to break the tiles.

Another small minus is their installation. Although today special glues and mixes to install tiles on the walls appeared, still the cement as the base on the wall to fix the tiles on is popular. And it is a very timetaking process.
